Oh hey summer, you’re finally here! Unlike the rest of California (or even the Bay Area), San Francisco typically stays overcast and chilly during the actual summer months. We don’t get “real” summer weather until September, with warm temps lasting through October. Though we had an unusually sunny season in San Francisco and record-breaking temperatures over Labor Day Weekend, it’s been nice to have consistently 70+ degree days these past few weeks. I’ve been taking full advantage of the warm weather to dust off some favorite summer-y pieces from Tobi!
For some time now, I’ve seen Rothys mentioned quite a few times as an equally comfortable alternative to Tieks leather flats. Similar to Tieks, Rothy’s come in a variety of colors and more interestingly are made from recycled plastic bottles. After seeing no less than five girls wearing them on my commute to work one day, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair to conduct my own Rothy’s vs Tieks comparison.
