I’ve been a huge fan of Everlane for a while – my first purchase was in 2012! – but while I have countless tees and bags from them, I’ve never tried any of their shoes. So I decided to take advantage of their conveniently located San Francisco store to try on the Day Glove in both the classic leather and new ReKnit styles. I was intrigued specifically by the knit fabric version, which looked comfortable and similar in fit to Rothy’s loafers (my review here).
As mentioned in my Polene Numero Un review – I’ve been on the hunt for a stylish non-tote work bag that doesn’t look like a laptop bag and isn’t the ubiquitous Longchamp Le Pliage. Not to knock on the Le Pliage, I have two of them and they are fantastic at hauling around a ridiculous amount of stuff.
The Polene bag didn’t work out as it was slightly too small to fit a 13” Macbook Pro. I was almost about to pull the trigger on the much much more expensive Celine Seau Sangle until I had the idea to check out Everlane.
Funny enough, I didn’t pay attention to the Everlane Form Bag when it first launched despite being a long-time Everlane fan. It wasn’t until I was manually browsing Everlane’s website that I stumbled upon it. I decided to buy and give it a try, as I’ve had good success with their leather goods over the years. I have an older first generation Petra tote that has lasted 7 years and is still going strong!
