Holiday Gift Guide: For Her (& Kind of Him)

While this post is labeled as a holiday gift guide, it can also be a general shopping guide for yourself as well. Most of the items are geared towards women, but many of the brands listed also have men’s items that also make wonderful gifts. I am personally familiar with most of these brands, and can vouch that their pieces will last.

The Gift Guide

In order, from left to right, top to bottom:

1 | Amour Vert – Nouveau Fleece – $88

Love this playful, dressed up take on a fleece sweatshirt – perfect for a lazy Saturday at home or a busy Monday at work. Made from a modal and organic cotton blend that is so incredibly soft.

2 | aplat – Casserole Tote – $52

Currently with a buy one get one 50% off sale on their website, this is the perfect gift for the friend of yours who whips up a mean dish for all the holiday potlucks. Originally seen in person at the San Francisco Renegade Craft Fair.

3 | Cuyana – Travel Case Set – $120

This leather travel case set comes in 10+ beautiful shades of leather – from muted neutrals to bright pops of color like this red one. You can add on monogramming for $20 to add an extra bit of glam.

4 | Vrai – Line Bracelet in 14k Gold – $205

I have several bracelets and rings from Vrai (previously Vrai & Oro), and despite their dainty appearance they have withstood the test of time. Their pieces are made of solid 14k gold and not simply gold plated.

5 | Everlane – Cashmere Crew Sweater – $100

The classic cashmere sweater – you can’t go wrong here. At an affordable price point in almost 20(!) colors, there’s something for everyone.

6 | Lo & Sons – Catalina Deluxe Tote – $128 $64 (on sale)

One of the few styles I don’t have from Lo & Sons but wish I needed! The perfect simple, casual and functional weekender bag with a separate compartment for shoes or dirty clothing.

7 | Tiny Badger Ceramics – Dessert Bowl No. 2 – $25

Another Renegade Craft find, this San Diego based studio produces the prettiest ceramics that you can mix and match. If bowls aren’t your (or your giftee’s) thing, they have plenty of cups, plates and vases to choose from.

8 | Parker Clay – Miramar Backpack – $198 148.50 (on sale)

Originally reviewed here, the perfect gift for someone who enjoys high quality, durable, leather goods. This backpack fits a 13″ laptop (great for work) while maintaining a slim profile, perfect for commuting.

9 | Alternative Apparel – Eco-fleece Champ Sweatshirt$50 $30 through 11/28 only

I am concluding this gift guide with a heavy hitter. I have one of these, my husband has five, my dad has one and my brother has at least two. This is THE best, comfiest sweatshirt at a reasonable price point. You get the idea.

That’s a Wrap
